From
the late 1960s Martin has: worked in the development of
educational resources; taught audio production and radio techniques;
specialised in narration, particularly of technical scripts; has worked
as a producer and presenter in various broadcast situations.
He was a founder member of London's Jazz FM, producing and presenting weekend breakfast programmes. Later, Martin was instrumental in the successful application to the Radio Authority for an existent Cambridge commercial radio broadcast licence. He has written numerous scripts, features on the music and radio industries and recording equipment reviews. He has a degree in Communication and Environment.
